A Spartan's Mum

Custom House Quay

Had a lovely lunch courtesy of my wonderful parents at the Beacon. Once again they have been there for us over the last few months as I recovered and all their half and support is so much appreciated. You really can't put a price on the support of family.

I took this as we left. This harbour light and clock, made from a combination of cast and wrought iron in Greenock, has stood on this spot since 1860. It was made to replace a much smaller one that was moved to theEsplanade.

I did come back and take a long walk this afternoon, which offered up some lovely blip opportunities but I like the history that goes with the light so have settled on this for today.
