Goodbye and Hello

Wow what a day AGAIN!

After a couple of hours of errands in Didim it was back home to discover Boris had announced the inevitable.  I watched his exit speech that (regardless of any triumphs he may have deserved), demonstrated once again, his delusional distancing from any personal responsibility for his actions, consistently failing to understand or even acknowledge the British public's basic expectation of honesty, integrity, fairness and justice for all, most especially from those who would be in charge. Well, goodbye ol' chap. You were master of your own destiny imo

Although the warm sunshine was beckoning, I chose to ignore the pool and stay indoors to watch some mighty fine tennis from Jabeur and Maria in the ladies semifinal. After the match I joined Kat, Graham and Robin around the pool - already a momentous day but there was more to come when at about 19.00 one of our garden cats, very pregnant and very young Dotty*, walked up to us and started having contractions.  I took her indoors and by 19.45 she'd delivered two precious bundles - a tabby and a calico (literally just born in today's main pic). And still my day wasn't over as after an 'ooh ah' period of adoration from all of us, Graham, Kat and I drove to a small nearby cove to sit on the rocks and watch Esra splash about in the water (extra) whilst the sun set. Beautiful.

Second extra was taken at 22.20 when both babies fed and cleaned, snoozed blissfully against their very young, very proud mum. Hello little ones.
