One man and his dog

This is Andy walking his nine month old bundle of energy.
First time I've chatted with him for quite a few years. He used to be a painter and decorator and he did some work for use many years ago. 
Nice to stop and catch up again.

Both the main shot and the extra are shots taken from a bridge over the River Anker. We both reminisced of when the bridge itself was built, before which, the crossing was a ford and a then dilapidated footbridge. By coincidence, the landowner and farmer's wife also mentioned this of the bridge when I posted the photo's on FB. Spooky.
