The prow of TS Royalist with the roundel of the sea cadets and carvings depicting what sailors have done since the beginning of time- pull on ropes.

The sail training ship continues a long tradition of encouraging young people to go to sea.

The Royalist is funded by the Marine Society founded in 1756 to recruit thousands of trainees for the Royal Navy In preparation for wars against France, culminating in victory at Trafalgar in 1805.

Royalist is currently berthed at Largs Yacht Haven
