Three in the Lilacs

I've been looking forward to this little scene for a long time.
The photo is not that good yet. But on another morning... soon, when more than these two male American Goldfinches sit in the tangle of the lilac branches, they will appear to be the colour of the nearly bursting lilac buds. It is memorable.
This is just a preview of what I hope to capture. The Mr. Winterfinch (Purple House Finch) who sits with them is extra.
