In the garden this morning.

I’ve just watered it earlier.
It now has that kind of fresh smell you get when thirsty ground and plants have enjoyed being refreshed.
We’re apparently in for a heatwave.
My shrub roses are so lovely right now. A lot of the other standard ones have got black spot this year and haven’t produced as many strong blooms. The ones they have managed have been beautiful non the less. I’ve put one in the extras along with a couple of the border.
I went out like a light last night before 9.30pm and had a really good sleep for once.
