Emergency blip

Lea will have to do for tonight, as I'm too exhausted to go out and take pictures. I wish I could take a picture of the scent of the rain, but that wouldn't work.

In class, today, I showed Le roi et l'oiseau, an animated movie partly written by Prevert. It felt kind of lazy as it involved only a few words on my part to frame the movie, but the students seemed to enjoy it. Hey, if There is a way to show surrealism in ways that will speak to them, it seems like something I should do!

Tomorrow, grading while they do an exam, and then doc, drive to my SIL, possibly a book launch and more grading.
