The United States Pro Kart Series is at Road America for the weekend. BIG TIME karting at its best. All ages from the very young to those in their 50s and 60s. All of them professionals.

It's really amazing to see them drift around corners at high speed at the RA Motorplex. Makes me wonder how long the rear tires are useful before having to be replaced.

As far as the younger ones are concerned, it's good to see them doing something other than texting on their phones. Good sport...keeps them out of trouble. MANY professional race car drivers started their careers on Go Karts. I wonder how many more years 2-cycle competition wioll be allowed.

You'll notice that they already know to have their sponsors logos plastered all over their machines. I wish our politicians would be required to wear sponsor logos so we'd all know who owned them.
