Benedict's test

Just got a reminder from Blipfoto post a photo for today. Soooooo busy at work. No time for photos! However, it turns out I did take one photo with my iPhone - it shows the results (in rough form) of a lab we are trying to perfect so it works well for students. The test tubes contained mixtures of starch and amylase and had been treated to Benedict's solution to test for the presence of glucose (to see if the amylase did its thing). I know, not exciting, but it's all I had today!
