Milkweed

As I mentioned yesterday, my sister has eleven acres of land, and much of it is covered with Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) to benefit Monarch butterflies, and other pollinators. These flower buds will soon open to reveal fragrant pink blossoms that attract many insects to the area.
