Waste Not, Want Not

That's a saying I tend to take to extremes when it comes to lumber.

The bamboo flooring we had installed a few months ago was delivered on a large pallet, which the driver offered to take away, but I kept it. It's just rough plywood, but I thought all those little squares might be useful. The grandchildren will be able to make something out of them -- perhaps.

I'm getting some good exercise taking it apart. I'll try very hard not to step on one of the protruding nails.
