Fluffy!

I've been at Castle Espie today, working with the Education Manager to deliver the Wetland Rangers programme. We started with a walk in the collection area with Katie, one of the Aviculturists, and a visit to the Duckery to see the ducklings  - like the Bufflehead ducklings in todays blip. Then we learnt about the Mallard ducks and how they build their nests. The final activity was making a flowerpot from newspaper and planting a sunflower seed. All the children seemed to enjoy the session which is good.
