The giant in the garden

Apologies for yet another photo of our giant lily, or cardio giganteum but I want to show the sheer height of it, nearly 8ft, or 2.31 metres.
 
Actually I am short of a blip tonight because I have spent the entire day sitting in the patio reading.
Well, with a temperature of 22C I decided that its time to relax. Household chores can wait.
 
Its summer so lets enjoy it.
This is the nearest I am going to get to a holiday in the sun,  so its a staycation in the garden.
