A Mixed Day

We had an excellent day travelling along our 'presribed' route including several ruins along the way.  One was Dunhill Castle which once had a commanding view over the countryside - Pepper and John were surveying the scene. Later we walked a clifftop path with some very beautiful scenery.  The beach here was only accessible by sea and what was needed was a person to fill a space - and  as if on cue, along came a couple of canoeists to fill in the space bottom right!

We hadn't booked anywhere to stay this evening but, in end, decided to head for a large site near Ardmore - not usually what we favour.  However,  as we were turning down toward the site,  John noticed a problem with the clutch.  We made it on to our pitch, but the clutch is now not working at all. Problem.

However, insurance etc all in place, so it's now a matter of sorting it.  Hopefully it won't take too long to resolve and we can stay on this site meanwhile, but until  we know when this can be done, we are stuck!

Good weather, town nearby,  beach & cliff top walks accessible - could be a lot worse!
