Memorial Day

Siren found me in doggie park. Sis had a day off so we met shortly after one to go to South Tel Aviv as she wanted to buy stuff to make a dream catcher. we didn't realize it was half day work so quite a lot of the stores were already closing by the time we got there. The only ones still open we the ones selling stuff like those huge hammers that will be used in tonight's Independence day parties. We didn't really find what she needed but ended up eating at a very nice new restaurant on Rothschild. I got home and just had time to make the chocolate mousse for the evening and the malaby for the next day.

In the evening R and I went to L's to see the firework, She didn't invite anyone else so we just had veggie lasagna (indoors because it was rather chilly) and nipped on the balcony every time there were fireworks. We also saw a very silly movie and some time after midnight R and I went to Rabin square to see if anything was still going on. Surprisingly there was so we stayed there for an hour listening to Israeli music and watching people dancing on the streets. it was great!
