Pocket Park

We took Jess to Pocket Park this morning as there is plenty of shade  and water.  The park is being managed beautifully and has well maintained walkways but is mostly given over to wildflowers and wildlife.  We felt a little sad as we had to stop Jess throwing herself in the river as water is very low and the bank sides would have been too steep for her to manage  with her arthritic paw.

She's 12 next week and still thinks she's a puppy!

Lovely catch up this evening with the travellers in Columbia (extra) and unexpectedly from James who is considering a house move.  Was heart-warming to speak to them.
