Red Soldier Beetles

In the garden in the morning removing some things that had finished flowering & dying back.

Sat in the shade for breaks & lunch.

Got too hot & I got restless, watched a bit of the tennis before lying down. Missed the Men's Final.

Ate tea outside as was now in the shade.

Went for an evening walk, at a very slow pace, stopped off at some of the flowery bits planted in the park. The wildflowers are flowering along the edge of the woodland.

Good to see lots of red soldier beetles getting busy round the wildflowers & also saw quite a few on the bramble flowers.

Now to try to be cool enough to sleep tonight.
