Anzac Day

This morning we marched in the Anzac Day march. Spence was in his uniform with all the other kids from all the schools around but Kaz, Joti and I got to march as well which was good! I don't know that Spence got the experience by being in the march because he couldn't see the soldiers or the vintage cars etc that he would have seen had he been on the sidelines but he enjoyed it!!

We didn't stay for the service but went to the park at Moffat Beach and met up with quite a few other parents and kids from school. We had a great time. We had fish and chips for lunch then came home.

This afternoon we all went for a walk to the park about 2km away which was lovely! We didn't leave until about 4.30 so it wasn't long before the sun was setting! Just before it set the moon came up and it must be close to a full moon if it isn't already.

I took this photo of spence with the last rays of sunlight on him. If you look really hard you can see the moon in the background just above the line of trees and spence was asking me if he was in the right spot so that he was in the photo as well as the moon!

It's Kaz and my 7 year anniversary today. It in some ways seems like such a short amount of time because it feels like we have been together forever (not in a bad way)!! We are going out for tea tomorrow night while Bron looks after the kids which will be great and we might get to go surfing on Sunday morning while Bron looks after the kids again! I am looking forward to it all!
