Frilly poppy

a plantswoman neighbour A gave me the seedling ...we exchange stuff all the time...she grows these annually from same seed gathered by her late mother in North Connel on the family holiday long ago...
she has a quarter acre and has developed the huge garden 'room' plan first laid out by our lovely late neighbours when we all moved here over 50 years ago...J would be thrilled to see it now
