At St.Drostan's well

A beautiful warm summer's day in the North-East of Scotland, and the feast of St. Drostan, so where else to go than New Aberdour, where Drostan is believed to have first set foot in this part of the world. We had a great afternoon exploring the beach and the rock pools. Sad to see so many dead seabirds though, the result of the avian flu that seems rife at the moment.
