Get A Move On...

Rhododendrons, like magpies and grey squirrels, suffer from a bad press but I like them. Yes they can get out of control and little grows beneath them but in May and June they are ablaze with a variety of colours.

The buds are showing signs of growth but after this long, slow, cold spring I am impatient to see them bursting out.

Have not seen much sign of the grey squirrel recently and no magpies in the garden today but a robin, jackdaws, crows and the ubiquitous pigeons.
