There's not much that can't be bought for money these days - especially in Edinburgh (the exception of course is my unconditional love but even that demands a premium in these cash-strapped times...)

So

I thought it was remarkable that you could - if you wanted - buy a"river-basin..."

...at auction!

Now what, do you suppose, would the new owner do with that?
