The Fast Ripening Crops

Following on from yesterday’s Pictish Stone Adventure, we stayed home catching up on many other activities and preparing our adventure for next week.

The continuing dry weather and sun is causing the grain crops to ripen very quickly. It cannot be long before harvesting begins.

Watering of the various herbs, and various plants in pots continues in the morning and evening.

The grass, is now quickly gaining brown patches. Of course, the green will return along with the next shower of rain. Not expected for at least another week.
