Kestrel

There was a family fun day of racing at Downpatrick Racecourse this afternoon, so off we went! There were lots of fun things for the kids to do and see - including some birds of prey, like this very pretty kestrel. The extra is of a Little Owl, so tiny, but lots of personality! It was a great day,  lots of sunshine.....but not too many winners! I think I jinx the poor horses - the one horse that I said I would choose was withdrawn!!! But it was an enjoyable day regardless.
