Feathers Hotel

After an 8 mile run and breakfast I was part of a very organised morning visit to Ludlow. Shopping for weekly food supplies, library books returned and more chosen, yeast for bread making, a haircut for D, an appointment with a well known opticians to choose the “free” pair of glasses from the BOGOF deal and a wander/breeze around the market. A bright and sunny morning in general, memories are of the architecture in this interesting town especially the famous hotel above, traffic passing right through the narrow streets and lots of swifts screaming across the blue skies.
Some more forestry work after a light lunch of sandwiches followed by local cherries and homemade lemon drizzle cake under the parasol in the garden.
