Boston Tea Party

I walked by this idyllic scene on my way to a meeting of the lecture programme committee of the Torquay Museum Society. We met in an upstairs room at a cafe called the Boston Tea Party. They encourage community use of this large space. Previously it was a Pizza Express and long before that it was Maples furnishings. I sat there thinking about the dining table we bought there in 1975. It is still in the family. Triggered a few memories. In the evening we went to the Palace Theatre in Paignton to see the Unexpected Guest. Every year at this time there is an Agatha Christie play by the local Bijou Theatre Company. A very high standard as always and an awkward feeling that you might have seen it before.
The photo is Corbyn’s Head, Torquay.
