Big and small

This little guy was zooming around the flowers this afternoon with all the other bees. I caught him at rest on this Allium. To Bee, or not to Bee? Fly, wasp etc? Only a few millimetres long in any case.

Bottoms up from a real honey bee in the extra. They seem to be nesting in the porch roof...
