Tom Jones

No, not THAT Tom Jones, but instead a stage adaptation of the book by Henry Fielding. It was staged by a Cambridge am-dram group who were very good. It was funny and saucy, as you’d expect! The setting, in the grounds of the beautiful Madingley Hall (extra), was perfect - a Capability Brown landscape, a balmy summer evening, spectacular evening sky. It all felt remarkably normal.

The second extra is a slightly out of focus capture of two actors (Captain Fitzpatrick and Squire Allworthy) heading towards the stage.

Thank you all for your kind words yesterday, they’re very much appreciated.
