Don't Jump!

Finally!  Third attempt worked.  My picture kept being rejected.  Anyway...

A great day at Bedford Reservation on duty with fellow trail ambassador VD.  We hiked from the Egbert Picnic Area and were amazed at the number of signs warning people not to jump.  No one in any mental state would jump from the very high cliffs into the mostly shallow Tinkers Creek below.  There was quite a bit of deer fencing to keep the deer from going over the edge too.  We went off the trail to go down to the water 3 times.  (Shhh!!!)  Each was a steep descent and a very tough climb back up.  But the sound of the water accompanied us the whole way and had beautiful changes in topography below.  No wifi service most of the way.  Afterwards, we drove to Gorge Outlook (and couldn't see the big waterfall) then to Hemlock Picnic Area where I spied horses finishing their rides and we hiked into the woods to this lovely spot.  A wonderful day with absolutely perfect weather.  80 degrees, sunny, a light cooling breeze, under the shade of tall trees.  I look forward to seeing more of this beautiful park, as per usual.
