Cooling off

The heatwave over Europe is advancing towards us. I stayed in most of the day, the house is very cool. However, at about 18:00 remembered I needed to get the second of three tick TBE/FSME vaccines, due 4 weeks after the first one on 3rd June. So dashed over to GP, arriving at 18:30. While there, asked about my blood test from 3rd June & also got a referral for Urologist check up I had booked for next week. Don't need a referral from GP to see a specialist in Germany, but we are very data wary here and a referral forces the specialist to keep GP in the loop. I excited with all 3 things done, 6 minutes later at 18:36. Think that is probably my record GP visit time.

Then some shopping & finally home late for evening dog walk, which as usual started with a swim. The photo was taken quite late from the side we swim in, but I wanted to show the main bathing peninsula where the life-saving organisation have a hut. They had been out practising picking people up using their motorboat when we arrived, but I didn't have the camera to hand. After the walk, they had finished & packed  away so no action shots sadly.
