A Butterfly Moment

The Bee Balm is blooming and that means lots of butterfly moments in the garden.  This is a Great Spangled fritillary, the most common kind I have. The sunlight through the wings was so lovely.  We had a bit of rain late yesterday though not nearly enough.  It will have to do.  Bob is mowing right now, something he hasn't had to do for 3 weeks.  The grass is like shredded wheat but at least it will be neat looking.
