A tramp across the bog

It was a lovely sunny morning and there were no midges about so Bertie and I extended our walk to see what we could see on the moorland beyond the trees. The photo shows the yellow flowers of bog asphodel and the fresh green leaves of the bog myrtle which, when crushed, give off a beautifully aromatic fragrance.
I spent much of the day gardening but by late afternoon I was beaten by what I thought was bad hay fever. It later transpired to be the onset of Covid which N had very kindly shared with me. So now, on Friday 15th, my fourth full day of Covid, I at last feel able to make a start on catching up with my Blips. I am very pleased to report that N is recovering well, although still feels very tired.
