Roe Deer

I was chatting with a neighbour by the pasture in the morning, when I noticed a deer in the wheat field. I fetched a camera and went closer. By then the deer and its companion were on the other side of the field. I got a couple of shots of both of them, but the doe was hiding behind the wheat and soon disappeared. The better shots were of the buck, as he stayed in sight for six minutes, with a shooting distance of about 120 metres.

Topping road edges again in the morning. After lunch brought the last load of fresh grass to the pasture, but had to bring a bale later as the smallish load was almost gone by evening.

Showers again, but just one millimetre like yesterday.
