Storm Clouds

We were stopped at the bakery on the prairie. I stayed in the car since it just makes me sad to go into a bakery (can't eat gluten). The sky was fabulous. The rain makes the sage brush and the prairie in general smell so fresh.
This morning we drove up into the Snowy Mountains to Lake Marie and up to Libby flats to look at the view. This was basically the touristy thing to do. I didn't get a chance to hike up Medicine Bow Peak this year but still it's so beautiful up there. One extra is a view from up at Libby Flats. The other is a little gopher that was eating flowers while we had breakfast in Centennial this morning. Centennial is the tiny town at the base of the Snowies about 6 miles from Mom's place. I had such a kick watching the gophers running around. This was through the window from our table.
