Work flew by again, being the only one in the department.
Then a hot walk to Jean’s with supplies. I did her washing, and we had a chat. Her first tomatoes are orange now.
Then I got a call from Trish to call in at the community centre so see the new garden that the youth volunteers had created. We had celebratory drinks, then the youngsters said their goodbyes. Some of us stayed and helped tidy up, putting the tools away and watering everything thoroughly. Here is Ted trying out the new bench they had built.
Back home to tea in the garden which was lovely. S gas got her new job, as a gardening apprentice.
