Bee-fest

The drumstick alliums are proving popular with the bees at the moment, particularly later in the afternoon. I think this is the closest bee shot I have had with the new macro lens and I am pleased with it, this is cropped to about a quarter of the image. Best viewed against black, as is "Tufty" in extras. I've managed to stay pretty cool today which feels like a result. 
My treadmill walks have gone by the by till this phase of very hot weather is over.
