Acts of deliberate notice

Harvest

I had a surprise visit from my mother after a glut of garden produce. Onto my doorstep (not actually given to me by hand due to the aforementioned plague) was deposited a bag full of homegrown courgettes, broad beans, cucumber and redcurrants; a box of alpaca fleece that will be used to stuff two soft toys I am currently making; and another bag containing a mad 7 lb of gooseberries.

Lack of fridge/freezer space made it necessary to do something with the gooseberries, so half of them became this picture. It would have been more but this used all the sugar I had in the house! Awaiting negative test results to go and buy more...
