Nautilus spiral #2

A different version of yesterday's. I think it looks like a wave.
Made using a single piece of iridescent wrapping paper (hard to photograph, looks better in the real world!) 27 x 16.5cm. Finished piece is approx.16 x 10.5cm. The back of the paper was white so I hand coloured it with Derwent watercolour pencils.

Went for another run this evening. It's forecast to get hot tomorrow, building up to 36 degrees (!!) on Tuesday so I don't think I'll get out again until later next week.

Can't believe it's 2 years since dad's funeral. The last couple years have been a strange blur.
