Bale Pals

Long weekend for me as apparently this weekend is the Glasgow fair.  Once upon a time, a big market came to town and locals shut businesses to go visit, this then turned into having the day off to go doon the water and now is a random bank holiday for those of us lucky enough to get it!  I spent yesterday doing jobs in the house, mainly cleaning and starting to pack the kitchen (the worst bit of the move). 

Today we wandered into Hamilton to send off a parcel for niece M (art supplies as she enjoyed a bit of painting when she stayed we us and the summer holidays will eb starting soon for her!) and got some tasty bread and donuts from the Cadzow Bakehouse.  Then more packing, a bit of guitar, tea and a walk in the park.  Not much going on apart from jobs at the moment, though we're nearly through all the packing of stuff we don't need before the move.  Still crossing our fingers for no hitches in the next two weeks.

These hay bales were all paired up and looked like pals in the field.  Decided to try a bit of artsy photoshopping on them. Not actually sure if I prefer this one of the full colour one, but I spent time doing it so the faffed one has made the blip!
