Above And Beyond...

Walk

A beautiful sunny day with local temperature about 29C, we did a 9 mile circular walk along the River Wye starting at Foy, near Ross on Wye (Herefordshire). It's one we've done many times, in both directions, and we enjoy as there's something to see all the way around in this area of outstanding national beauty.

Mrs BB even went for a swim in the Wye at Sellack which has a bit of a 'beach' area and a beauty picnic spot for those who know the area well.

The photo' I like best of the day is a farmyard at Strangford with a lone tree next to a red steel container and blue and white streaky sky behind. I like the way the colours compliment each other - something a bit different !

Not long after we got home, had a shower and enjoying an iced coffee but granddaughter Amelia and mum turned up at 6.30pm with their two dogs whom we're looking after for a week. They fly 6am in the morning for a week in Majorca - Amelia's first aeroplane flight - she's very excited.
