Finding beauty…

In little things. This is Indian Heliotrope (Heliotropium indicum) . I think it is quite lovely.
Busy day today. We went to breakfast then to the feed store and grocery store. I’m Curious. Is anyone else noticing an increase in grocery expense? With just the two of us, we really don’t buy a lot. With Logan, Sarah, Jessica coming tomorrow, we stocked up. I don’t mean to complain…. But…. OUCH!! :—)
The people who help me clean every couple of weeks were here today and did a great job. I a cook, an artist, a wife, and a GEEGEE! I am NOT a house cleaner! Having them cone is the little splurge Johnny gives me and I so appreciate it.
Funny thing happened today. Johnny’s cousin is building a house down the road. She’s had Corona virus for 6 days and is stir crazy since she’s living in a travel trailer. We passed her coming home. In a few minutes, we passed her again. When we got to the driveway, she had stopped in the road just beyond it. Knowing she has been sick, we were concerned. We pulled up beside her. She had stopped to look at a deer. She was laughing saying she was just driving up and down the road bc she was sick of that trailer! Quarantine is 5 days now and this is day 6. I told her come down and sit in the garden. She did and we visited awhile, distanced of course. :—)
Logan and our girls arrive tomorrow. GEEGEE and Papa J’s hearts are thankful.
