Wind Turbine, Gallows Hill

A dark raincloud lowers over the newly constructed wind turbine on the grimly-named Gallows Hill, on a typical April day of sunshine & showers.

Seen here looking westwards from Milton of Inveramsay on the A96, opposite the junction with the minor road to Harlaw about 4km west of Inverurie.

To add to the sense of foreboding, I've just noticed on the large-scale map I have in front of me a well with the name Satan's Well, just a few hundred metres south of the summit of Gallows Hill...
