No birds

To the bird hides this morning searching for a blip. One lagoon completely dried up and the other with a few shallow pools. Some very distant Lapwings and a far off heron. Thats all.
So it was a case of looking closely at the vegetation along the side of the path.
Came up with two shots.
Main blip is White lipped banded snail. Cepaea hortensis. Lots of them about.
The extra is Timothy grass. Phleum pratense. Very common but worth a close look.
