Pond Royalty

For me to see this splash of hues
The greens and golds and touch of blues,
To see the lace-like shimmering wings
I know my heart now truly sings.

This is for me the perfect sight
To see it resting after flight
Above the busy fish below
It sits in state, a regal show.
