Blowing in the Wind

The wind started to pick-up around 4:30am. We had a few strong gusts here in the city but over all it hasn't been too bad. Great for getting the washing dry. It reached 19c at one stage, which is really warm for this time of year. Many places in the Canterbury Region have been badly effected with the winds, power lines down, trees blown over and dust storms. So we have been really lucky here in Christchurch so far.

I was going to prune the roses today but it was just too windy for me. We still have a few in flower.
