Embleton Quarry

This photo was taken at the top quarry.  No quarrying goes on now having been shut in the 50s, but has provided plenty of self seeding.  There are individual trees and small copses; individual stones (to sit on) and rock falls. A good place for photo taking.
The second photo gives a taste of what the quarry looks like now.
