Wilting

The Gunnera is wilting in the heat as are many plants. Our evening will be spent watering I think. 
I had people from the art group here this morning , supposedly to paint in the garden . Actually only one painted the rest sat chatting. It was very pleasant sitting in a shady spot under the weeping birch, with tea and cake.
