Crathes Castle

Mrs CBL and I visited Crathes Castle which is in Royal Deeside today..  It was as forecast a very warm day but at 26°C it wasn’t nearly as hot as it was further south in the UK. 

Before walking round the grounds and walled garden we had coffees and treats (apple and cinnamon scones) at Mains of Drum Café.  The gardens were just glorious with so many colourful flowers on show.
