Going golden

The corn is ripening rapidly.
Not as hot as "down south" but very hot for here, high 20s I should think.
I didn't have to rush to get the washing done and once it was out most was dry in an hour and some has since been worn and put back in the wash! I even got the ironing done.
Most of the morning was admin work, though I did do a couple of small jobs in the garden, and the afternoon was sewing (indoors) and a half-hour in the hammock in a shody spot.
There were about 20 mad people, between my ladies' group and the running club, who went running this evening. The routes were in the woods and my club group cut it short so we could stay in the woods.
The views across to the Sidlaws were good.
