Dried grass and seeds

I'm assuming that sepia is allowed for Mono Monday - after all, it isn't called Black and White Monday! This image looks better large so that the detail of grass seedheads and seeds can be seen more clearly. These seedheads rattle when you shake them then drop their seeds. Another of the many interesting grasses that abound at the moment. I haven't yet identified the species.
